Preparing for usage:
- Before loading the instruments into the sterilizer ,instruments are thoroughly cleaned .
- Make sure that the product used for cleaning the instruments are chloride-free, as certain cleaning agents are highly corrosive and should be avoided.
- Instruments are well rinsed to remove all the chemical residues and then well dried prior to the sterilisation process.
- Check the instruments for any signs of damage.
- Load the instruments on the boiler tray, place the heavy instruments at the bottom and smaller instruments at the top, make sure that the hinged instruments such as forceps and scissors are kept open.
- Do not overload the boiler tray.
Directions to use:
- Plug the instrument steriliser to the main switch .
- Approx 1 litre to 1.5 litres of water is put inside the sterilizer
- Load the boiler tray inside the instrument sterilizer/boiler
- Make sure water circulates well among the instruments and all instruments are covered with water.
- Put the switch ON and allow the water to boil.
- Do not leave the boiler unattended while using it.
- After the required boiling time , switch OFF the boiler, remove the instruments using cheatle forceps.
- Place the instruments into a sterile metal container and dry them before using with a sterile cloth.
User Maintenance:
- Allow the steriliser to cool down and drain the water inside it after every use.
- Wipe the outside surface of sterilizer with clean cloth everyday.
